Hi Guys

First time on the boards.
Does anyone know how the Redcar area is fishing at the moment?

Going up next week for a few days.

Cheers
John

Hi,
Had 3 sessions - 2 on Saltburn pier and 1 on Redcar beach, neear the groins.

Had a couple of small fish on my first trip on the pier, smallest Bass I've ever seen and also the smallest codling, I had to check 3 times to find it's beard, it was so small I thought it was a whiting.

Apart from that, nothing, second trip on pier ahd to concede defeat, it got to heavy to fish, the sea waas coming away all the time.

Blanked on Redcar beach, bloke near me had 3 small rockling but it was an enjoyable stay up there and a bit of fresh air to boot.

Looking forward to a trip over to Wales at the end of this month!
