Returns & Refunds

If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for an exchange or refund within 30 days of delivery. Please notify us before sending your return and include your name, address, and return instructions with the item.

We will refund the cost of the goods and the original delivery charge if the items are unused and in resalable condition. Return postage is your responsibility and cannot be refunded. We recommend using registered mail for high-value items.

Manufacturer’s Warranty

Most products include a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage from neglect, misuse, modification, or normal wear and tear. For warranty assistance, contact us within the warranty period:

Faulty items returned under warranty will be replaced at our expense upon receipt.

Complaints

If you have any concerns or complaints about our products or service, please email sales@squidsinseabaits.com. Please insert “Complaint” in the subject matter. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 7 working days. All complaints are recorded for internal review.

Important Notes

  1. Rod Rings: Rod rings are fragile. Inspect all rod rings before first use and report any damage within 7 working days of receipt and before use. Most manufacturers do not cover damage caused by misuse.
  2. Maintenance: Saltwater is highly corrosive. It is your responsibility to clean and maintain your equipment properly. Damage due to poor maintenance is not covered by warranty.

Fresh and Frozen Baits

Fresh Baits (Collection Only) : Fresh baits are perishable living creatures. We cannot guarantee the quality of the product using a courier service. Transport conditions—including temperature, transit time, and handling—can impact their quality. As they are living organisms, we do not provide refunds on fresh baits. Please check your fresh baits before exiting our store to ensure you are fully satisfied with the quality of the product. (Another reason why we do not ship fresh bait)

Frozen Baits: If you’re not completely satisfied with your frozen baits, please keep them frozen and return them to us via next-day courier to receive a full refund. Refunds cannot be issued for orders that arrive defrosted. While most parcels arrive frozen, we cannot be held responsible for thawing caused by courier delays due to weather or other factors outside our control. We do everything in our power to ensure quality to the highest possible standard, including placing ice packs to maintain temperature. Ordering frozen goods online is at the customer’s choice and risk.
