Our Hermit Crabs are vacuum packed in quantities of approximately 4–5 per pack before being frozen, providing a convenient bait that can be stored in the freezer until required.
Keep frozen until required and defrost only the amount needed for your fishing session.
Bait Tip
The soft body of the Hermit Crab is an important part of the bait and should be handled carefully when mounting it onto the hook.
Secure the crab gently with bait elastic to help maintain its shape and keep it in place during casting. For a tougher presentation, try combining Hermit Crab with a strip of Squid, which can help support the softer crab while retaining its natural scent release.
