Description

Frozen Unwashed Squid Bait – Falklands Loligo C6 (250g)

Our Frozen Unwashed Squid Bait contains whole Falklands Loligo squid, ideal for targeting cod, bass, rays and conger.

Also known as dirty squid, this bait retains its natural juices because it goes straight to freezing without washing. As a result, it offers a natural scent that can help attract feeding fish.

Each pack contains 250g of frozen unwashed squid. The C6 grade refers to the supplier’s size classification, not a fixed number of squid.

Why Choose Our Unwashed Squid?

• Unwashed & Natural – Retains natural juices and scent.
• Firm Flesh – Holds well on the hook, even during casting.
• Versatile Sea Fishing Bait – Use whole, in strips or as part of a mixed bait.
• Ideal for Various Species – Popular for cod, bass, rays and conger.
• Convenient 250g Pack – A handy size for your next fishing session.

What Fish Can You Catch with Dirty Squid?

Unwashed squid is a versatile bait for UK shore and boat fishing. It’s particularly useful for cod and bass. However, anglers also use it when targeting rays and conger.

You can fish squid on its own or combine it with other natural baits. For example, squid and lugworm make a popular bait cocktail when targeting cod.

How to Use Frozen Dirty Squid

You can fish dirty squid whole or cut it into strips and sections.

For smaller fish, cut a strip and thread it onto your hook. Alternatively, use a whole squid or larger section when targeting bigger species.

You can also secure the bait with bait elastic to help it stay in place during casting.

Storage & Handling

Keep frozen until use. Defrost only what you need for your fishing session. Also, handle raw bait carefully and keep it separate from food.
